Party Planet Balloon Stores use only the very best helium balloons for their balloon bouquets, balloon decor and custom balloon printing because the better quality the helium balloon, the longer the balloons will float, the more vibrant the balloon colour and the better your event will look with balloons.

Uninflated, helium balloons look pretty much alike. Cheap party balloons seem to offer an economical way to use balloons to transform a venue into a party atmosphere. Unfortunately, cheap party balloons do not hold helium gas very well and loose their shape and colour quickly when inflated. Party Planet helium balloons however are longer lasting, more consistent in colour, shape, and quality, pop less and give a more vibrant balloon colour.

Helium balloon float time depends upon the quality of the balloon latex used, the weather, and the use of a balloon flight extender gel. You should expect a helium balloon you inflate to last 8 - 12 hours. If balloons are treated with a balloon flight extender you should expect the balloons to float between 24 - 36 hours.

Balloons made from latex do not float as long as foil balloons because the helium escapes though the latex balloon quicker. Balloons will float for longer when the temperature is colder and when kept in the shade. Party Planet balloons float longer because we use the best quality, we inflate helium balloons just before the balloons are delivered or set up, and we always use a balloons flight extender on helium balloons.
