Q. Does Party Planet deliver Balloon Bouquets?
A. Yes we do. We Deliver Balloon Bouquets to the Sunshine Coast - Check our delivery map here. There are different charges for different areas. Please give us a call on (07) 5479 3113 or email us on info@partyplanet.net.au to get an exact price.
Q. How long do helium balloons float for?
A. There are two types of helium balloons, Latex and Foil. Latex balloons can vary in quality. At Party Planet we use and supply only the very best quality in balloons. Latex balloons will last approximately 8-10 hours or with a flight extender gel will last approximately 24 hours. Foil balloons will last approximately 1 week. Both foil and latex balloons are adversely affected by the heat so it is best to keep balloons in a cool environment.
Q. How long will it take me to blow up my balloons?
A. As a guideline, it takes approximately 1-1.5hrs to blow up 100 balloons.
Q. How do Balloons effect the environment?
A. Latex balloons are made from 100% Natural Latex - therefore are biodegradable and not harmful to the environment. For further information please visit the Qualatex website. Foil Balloons are not good for the environment and are not designed to be released into the environment. If foil balloons come in contact with power lines they can cause electrocution and interruption to service. Please do not release foil balloons into the environment.
Q.Is Helium dangerous?
A. Helium is a gas which is non-flammable and non-explosive. It is dangerous when inhaled as it replaces the oxygen in your lungs. It is NOT RECOMMENDED to inhale. For further information please visit the BOC website.
Q: How do I need to store the helium cylinder?
A: The helium cylinder needs to be stored upright in a cool, dry environment. It is safe to transport in a car, but must be secured. Please don't transport the cylinder with the regulator attached as it will damage the cylinder and the regulator.
Q. Do I need to pay a deposit on the helium cylinder?
A. Yes, this is a security deposit and is refundable once the cylinder is returned to our shop in good condition.
